"First excursion of the season and we saw a Humpback whale (amongst several other maritime creatures)!! Guides were fantastic! Even though our time was up, they didn’t give up, they knew exactly what they were doing and are very knowledgeable about the oceans movements. We learned a lot! And the person driving the boat gave us a little adventure crossing high waves! Definitely worth it! The boats are clean and well maintained and our skipper was skillful and made sure our safety was number one! He was knowledgeable and was able to find a few whales (including a mother and calf), seals and other great sea life!" Apart from the sea life one of the highlights for me was Needle Caves that reach 200m deep into the Western heads which I never knew about. While looking for dolphins we suddenly had the unexpected sighting of a juvenile humpback whale - what a beautiful surprise!!! Lucky us :-) The season is only starting in May?!?
